Keegan Sell scored four touchdowns to highlight Garfield’s commanding 42-13 victory over host LaBrae on Friday.
Sell rushed the ball for 88 yards on just seven carries and scored three times on the ground, including the first two touchdowns of the game on a 6-yard run in the first quarter and a 47-yard run in the second quarter.
The scores were part of Garfield’s electric start, which included five first-half touchdowns and a 35-7 lead by halftime.
In addition to Sell’s three first-half touchdowns, the G-Men also received a 10-yard scoring pass from Eric Geddes to Christian Gallagher and a punt return by Leo Grandizio.
In the third quarter, Sell added his fourth touchdown, but this one came through the air on a 30-yard connection from Geddes.
Garfield totaled 257 yards on the ground. Geddes had nine carries for 70 yards and Collin McGranahan had 44 yards on six attempts.
Geddes was 3-for-4 passing for 85 yards.
Garfield is now 4-0 on the season and next up will host Champion (0-4) in Week 5.
