It was a special opening night of the 2022 season for Kent Roosevelt senior Donovan Daetwyler.
He did a little bit of everything, spotlighting a 35-6 victory over visiting Akron Firestone.
Daetwyler had his fingerprint on practically every facet of the game.
He rushed for two touchdowns, had one receiving touchdown, had two interceptions and took one of those back for a score.
Daetwyler finished with 79 yards rushing and 31 yards receiving.
Firestone jumped out to a 6-0 first-quarter lead, but it was short-lived as the Rough Riders scored the next 35 points unanswered for the big win.
